A fortified medieval castle, located on top of a hill surrounded by forests and vineyards in the beautiful Sienese countryside, has been transformed into a luxury resort. The building complex, which once also housed a monastery, includes some farm buildings. Landscaping involved the construction of a relaxation area with three pools arranged in sequence according to the elevation profile. Some old typical manure storage areas have been re-adapted with pergolas. Plants choice and setting have carefully respected the typical vegetation of the rural areas.
